We firmly believe that as builders, its is morally imperative that we hold ourselves to the highest standards of ethics and integrity. As clients hire us to build them new homes or come into their existing homes to build additions or complete remodeling projects, there is a tremendous degree of trust placed in us to build in ways that use the best materials and last as long as possible.
With the emotional issues that can accompany all aspects of quality, timing and pricing in construction projects, we feel honored that clients entrust to us the care of their home and all of the emotional energy that is involved in their living space, and we make every effort to treat our clients homes and our relationships with our clients with the highest degree of caring and respect. We like to think of ourselves as not only builders, but as doctors for our clients' homes, and as such we take upon ourselves similar responsibilities as do members of the medical professions.
Our primary ethical guideline is the Pollard Builders Fundamental Standard, which is as follows:
Employees of Pollard Builders are expected to show both within and without the Company such respect for order, morality, personal honor and the rights of others as is demanded of good citizens. Failure to do this will be sufficient cause for removal from the Company. *
(*Adapted nearly verbatim from the Stanford University Fundamental Standard.)
