Pollard Builders is different from most other construction companies, and we hope that some of the aspects of our company that set us apart will create a more positive experience of the construction process for our clients. The company was founded by Benjamin Pollard in 2005 with the goals of improving the sustainability of the built environment, creating economic development and employment opportunities for Maine people, and generating revenue to be shared with nonprofit environmental education and advocacy organizations.

Through the process of developing and building construction projects, we have learned that one of the best ways we can make the world a better place is by working carefully and conscientiously to ensure that we facilitate a graceful and pleasant creative experience for our clients, and by infusing the positive energy of our work in our clients' homes, thereby creating, in the words of President George H.W. Bush, points of light wherever we work.
